The container gallery was performed as a project concept for a commercial property located on Highway 62 at the entrance of Joshua Tree owned by the artist.

 

The artist’s vision involved a metal studio building and several containers to display pottery, sculpture, and paintings. My design translates this into a series of containers arranged at a 1:20 slope, coiling around a central courtyard.

 

The goal is to create an immersive experience: a path where visitors can enjoy both the artwork and framed views of the desert landscape from custom connecting nodes. Additionally, the courtyard is designed to host monthly events and serve as a space for the daily viewing of sculpture and pottery.
