As the project designer for the Tule River Justice Center design-build competition, I worked closely with the team to develop the design and materials for the interview process.

 

Throughout this phase, I balanced the project budget and the contractor’s construction methods to ensure the best possible outcome. A primary focus was designing an entry and interior spaces that reflects the tribe's heritage and cultural values, providing meaningful opportunities to display and pass along tribal knowledge to its members. The design was successful in that it won the project for the team.
