2007 AIA / CCFC AWARD OF HONOR

As the Project Designer for the Nevada County College Center Expansion, I led the planning and design of several key facilities, including the new Science and Technology, Art, and Fitness buildings.

 

This expansion was a significant campus-wide transformation involving over 110,000 square feet of new construction, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades. The scope of work included:

 

- Academic & Arts Facilities: A Science and Technology Building and a comprehensive Arts Complex for fine and performing arts.

- Student & Admin Services: A student center with food service upgrades, administrative and student services expansions, and computer lab improvements.

- Operations & Safety: A public-safety training center and a physical plant/corporation yard expansion.

 

These infill projects were strategically positioned to maximize collaborative learning, improve pedestrian circulation, and strengthen the campus landscape.
