As part of my work with SD Commons, an organization dedicated to reconnecting Balboa Park with the City of San Diego, I have developed a couple of conceptual designs for pedestrian bridges. These concepts are intended to further our discussion and illustrate potential options for connecting various points between the park and the city. One is called the Angels Gate to celebrate the contributions made by San Diego's bio technology and Health Services Communities. The other, Just a rough sketch of a more organic form with minimal contact points, connecting and activating three nodes.
