2012 CASH/AIA Award of Honor

Napa New Tech High School . Napa, CA

The home of the nationally franchise New School Technology program was housed in a 1950's elementary school that lacked the types of spaces need for their project-based technology driven curriculum. The existing building was gutted and transformed into a series of dynamic flexible spaces and labs. A new inverted V wing was added creating a multi-purpose space in the space between that became a natural point of entry. Team work spaces were created along internal axis adjacent to labs for break out that engage a wide variety of outdoor learning spaces.
