2018 DBIA National Merit Award

The design for the Skyline Library was selected from a strong field of competitors in a design-build competition. The concept honors the cultural diversity of the service area by distilling the differences down to the common purpose of hope through learning. Learning lifted by the scale, volume, focus, presence and skyline views. This full service Public Library features adult, teen and children's area along with a multi-purpose community room, independent study areas and technology labs. The plan allows for complete visual control and appropriate separation of service areas and community room independence.
