2007 National School Board Association Project of Distinction
Designshare Citation Award

12 Bridges High School . Lincoln, CA

The 12 Bridges Learning Center comprehensive project included a High School, Community College Center, and a Public Library. As the Project Designer, I was responsible for the planning and design of the entire site. The High School's design was developed around a concept of five thematic project-based learning environments: Science, Culture, Technology, Well-being, and Environment. Each of these five areas consists of six classrooms across two floors, surrounding a dedicated team work area and lab. The campus core is completed by administration, counseling, and dining facilities. Additionally, a joint-use community theater situated on a public plaza, adjacent to a shared-use public library, serves both the high school and the broader community.

As the Studio Director, I also managed the project through the development of construction drawings and the DSA approval process.
